The Gordon Bennett Cup (or Coupe AĆ©ronautique Gordon Bennett) is the world's oldest gas balloon race, and widely regarded as the premier event of world balloon racing.

Appointed once again by the airsports' world governing body, the FAI, for whom we have worked for many years on, this latest edition offered some unique challenges to the Pro-Active team.

Producing on-site news and then the post-race the international highlights package, the challenge was to incorporate as much  pre-race feature material as possible to build a backdrop for the many individual stories which began to unfold as soon as the 32 crews took to the skies above Vichy in France.

Working closely with experienced German pilots Willy Eimers and Matthias Zenge, the Pro-Active team successfully documented the winning team's 61-hour, 1,410km journey south across the Mediterranean and on to the finish in Italy.
